Marion Hohn, who is coached by Joseph Noyes, has signed a letter of intent with Colorado School of Mines and Technology. Marion has placed at the state track meet 18 times, including a runner up finish in the 800 meter run in 2014. She holds her school records in the 800, 1600, as well as a member of the 4×800 meter relay. Marion played a big role in Hill City winning its first ever cross country state championship in 2017, finishing in 14th place individually. Marion’s accomplishments are not limited to the track, as she was selected team captain of the volleyball team, basketball team, as well as the track team. She was also named Hill City’s Female Athlete of the Year. She carries a 4.0 GPA and is active in the community.
