Max Oesterling, who is coached by Karen Karim, has signed a letter of intent with South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Max is a multiple time state medal winner, including a third place performance as a member of the 4×800 meter relay team at the 2018 state track meet. Max also led his cross country team to a 3rd place team finish at the 2017 state cross country meet, while finishing in the top 20 as an individual. Max carries a 4.0 GPA and has earned the distinction of being named a National Merit Semi-Finalist based off of him scoring a 34 on the ACT and 1480 on the SAT.
